MAGA will reject and denounce America’s founding fathers before ever even try to understand what they were doing.

I’m betting they will drop all pretense of giving a shit about the American Revolution or the Constitution before this is over.

There's a sizable number of Christians who say the Trinity is part of the definition of Christianity. That's dumb gatekeeping, but if they insist on it, then the first three Presidents were not Christian. Washington was a diest, which means he would reject any divinity status for Jesus. Adams and Jefferson both explicitly rejected the Trinity.

If Christians could reason, they would not be christians.

Yes, that's the problem. The nation they're building now (the very same one that Goldwater warned us about!) is not the USA as it was conceived. it's a theocracy helmed by an ever-shifting set of oppressive evangelicals who twist their religious dogma to suit their desires.

I don't think you have to worry about people figuring it out, they're great at not doing that.

I wish these could be placed on 20 foot banners across DC

Religion is the largest scourge against humanity. Endless violence and untold amount of $$ stolen from those who "believe". Disgusting.

They should try to be funny/creative/clever, for one thing, and either using an existing format or creating a new one. This is literally just pictures and direct quotes from the Founders. Like the sidebar here says, "Random pictures do not qualify as memes."
