I really like this so far. Monica is a little bit of a weak main character at the moment, but the dynamic of autistic wallflower being forcibly adopted by theater kids works really well (and was my own high school experience, lol). The action even looks good, too. I give the premiere a 4/5.

Also, it's nice to see that Jinshi and Maomao are having a nice married life in this fantasy world, lol

I like Monica. Imagine being so shy that you are going to defy the rules of the world itself just to avoid confronting your anxiety!

Monica is an adorable main heroine. Loved every single one of her derpy faces.

Foe the people who watched it, how is it so far? Should I start watching?

I am up to date with the manga and thought that this first episode was better than I thought it would be (the dragons weren't even crappy CG). It's a fun story if you don't mind the extremely socially anxious main character (Bocchi, etc.). I hope that they keep up this quality for the rest of the season and give Nero more opportunities to be his cool self.

Very good adaptation so far. Whoever screen adapted it clearly respected the source material. Even details like the staff being used as a clothes line got put in. I'm happy with how this turned out. Nero is cool and best villainess is best villainessing (with a perfect ojou-sama laugh that goes into the history books).
