I don't support this and have no idea why there is a need for 'ai' in browser, but if people find this useful good for them. That firefox finally added vertical tabs was big highlight for me this year.

Not just vertical tabs, but tab groups as well.
Wait what? Tab groups? Didn't knew that!
Does this have to be built in to the browser? Why not just make it a recommended extension?
pretty much the only reason for it to be built in is for browser.tabs.groups.smart.enabled to be set to true.
That groups feature doesn't depend on the sidebar, it uses a local ai
i meant the reason for the entirety of ai being built in.
This incessant need to add AI to everything is so annoying.

I noticed recently that on the right click menu in Firefox there was an option to do something with an AI chat it but there was an option right below it to disable them which I did. The option is now gone.
set browser.ml.chat.enabled to false or browser.ml.chat.sidebar to false.. or both in about:config
Stop ruining things with AI!!!
