It's not gone. Trash does cosmetic surgery to make it permanent.

A sensible reaction to seeing someone look like that would be "oh my, you poor thing, hop in and I'll take you to a hospital".

Meth is a hell of a drug.

This and the "time warp" pose:

Put your hands on your hips, and bring your knees in tight....

This and the "time warp" pose:

That's what that pose was??

I always thought it was the "I'm about to shit my pants" pose, and I never made the connection to Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Now we're in the 'bro' era, among others, I'm sure.

Ending every other sentence with 'bro' makes one sound like a simpleton, but I'm old so I probably don't know what I'm talking about.

From personal experience, the problem is that you use it ironically, maybe with your kids or buddies, and it’s fun for a time.

Then one day you realize you’ve fully adopted it and you look in the mirror and ask yourself “What happened to you, bro?”

God, "bro" was a thing 30+ years ago

I feel like its' use has exploded the last few years, though? I feel like I hear it oh so much..

I have 40,000 plus selfies my daughter took with that face.

That trend was just a few years ago....

"First began in 1991"

[–] IcedRaktajino@startrek.website 3 points 3 weeks ago

Haha, yeah. I had about the same reaction when I read that. I thought for sure it was an early 2000s thing.

Now that's some prime early 2k nostalgia.

In an animal communication studies of capuchin monkeys, the "duck face" term has been used synonymously with "protruded lip face", which females exhibit in the proceptive phase before mating.

Hahaha omg that's awesome if true
