I just read the email that the CFL sent out.
I'm totally shocked.
The rule change, goal post move and end zone change are all 'meh' changes.
But changing the length of the field?? That's absolutely crazy. That's one of the biggest ways that makes the CFL our game vs the NFL.
I truly hope that there's a huge pushback against that from the teams and fans.
I am not too sure how I feel about this, but if they want to change the field make it metric. Metres instead of yards, they are fairly close to the same distance 1 metre equals 1.09 yards.

The shortened field is definitely the change I'm least impressed with.
Yeah and at that point just add a down and make it like NFL.... boooooring.
Why does this scream: "We didn't consult anybody other than our marketing department and it sounds like we could make more money doing this! So we're gonna do it!"
