Dude, Falcon 9 is almost singlehandedly propping up the entire western launch market. If it weren't for Falcon 9, we would be totally reliant on Soyuz for the ISS crew rotations, and CALT would be the most prolific launch service provider each year.
One of the many benefits of a cold war is that it seems to kick off a space race. Let's hope this is the kick in the ass the US needs to get things moving again.
