Zero

I just block .ml

[–] Kennystillalive@feddit.org 13 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (1 children)

Not banned, but I left all of .ml after they randomly deleted one of my comments that said "imperialism is bad no matter who is doing it (Russia, China or the US)". Appearently you are not allowed to criticize Russia over there. So I decided I don't want to have anything to do with the .ml community.

[–] 30p87@feddit.org 1 points 2 days ago

Russia and China

[–] Acamon@lemmy.world 12 points 2 days ago (1 children)

None. I don't really understand who's going around getting banned? Kids?

[–] urheber@discuss.tchncs.de 0 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Apparently so... I've been banned from about 20... But mostly because I suffered from 2 instances bans.

[–] RedditIsALostCause@lemmy.world 4 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Damn, tf did you do? I’m only banned from .ml bc when O first joined Lemmy, I selected them as my instance not knowing any better. Then I did what any sane person would do and told tankies they were insane and a curse upon the workd. The Davel, a mod there, got butthurt as hell and here I am.

[–] urheber@discuss.tchncs.de 1 points 2 days ago

Well dubvee instance banned me for no reason, (I never interacted) and apparently I'm an "unhinged troll"

[–] j4k3@piefed.world 8 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (1 children)

My main account got banned from something like 8 because one admin person went nuts. I went through my log and was like, WTF, I never even commented there.

I got two temporary bans from people that had no credible logic skills or objective thinking. One of those was a Lemmy dev. And that is why I'm on piefed now.

There are some crazies, but I think we all need to normalize just being nice digital neighbors. Life is too short and negative. If you don't like something, just ignore it. Don't engage or escalate or down vote. None of us are that important, and being negative makes things worse for all, including, if not especially yourself.

Was the Lemmy dev DaveL or Davel or something?

[–] notsosure@sh.itjust.works 3 points 2 days ago

Two, “not so nice” and “aggression” were the reasons! Don’t know where THAT comes from. Banana weirdos.

[–] MagicShel@lemmy.zip 4 points 2 days ago

To my knowledge none. If I have been, it's obviously nothing I miss. Don't think I've ever had a mod action. Despite saying some borderline shit in moments of distress. I try to police myself when I can.

[–] kbal@fedia.io 2 points 2 days ago

One! That I know of, anyway. I criticized something that was apparently beloved of the cranky young man who runs it like it's his own personal chat room. No regrets.

[–] slazer2au@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I have an instance ban from dubvee.org for something arather a year ago.

Also from !SaharaSahel but I don't think that exists anymore.

[–] urheber@discuss.tchncs.de 3 points 2 days ago

I was also banned from dubvee, without ever interacting... I still wonder why

[–] SSUPII@sopuli.xyz 1 points 2 days ago

None. I never, ever got banned on every single online forum I used.

The only service I got banned from is Aliexpress for having refused to provide my phone number on a page fully in simplified chinese to "prove I am not a robot".

Not sure, I'm sure I've gotten blocked by a lot of people though. Alcohol is a hell of a drug

[–] Nemo@slrpnk.net 1 points 2 days ago (1 children)

On lemmy? None. On reddit? One, but it was a misunderstanding and I was able to appeal it. On the Old Internet? Also none.

It's not that hard to just... read the rules, y'know?

[–] SSUPII@sopuli.xyz 2 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

So many will be general asshats or creeps online then complain when they are no longer welcome.
