I did a section on him for a class I teach, really interesting fellow. We were talking about artwork and titles and his art I used as an example of an artist who didn’t title his art. Not even allowing galleries showing his work to list untitled alongside it. So if you see a title associated with the work it’s probably just been adopted by viewers but nothing he would have supported. The polish museum that houses his work has a wonderful website with a lot of his work online for viewing.

This is my first time encountering his work. When I read the title of this post, I interpreted it as “artwork title - credited artist”. so I thought that “the internet’s sweetheart (for understandable reasons)” was the title of the artwork in the thumbnail.
It would indeed be perfectly understandable why that crawling mummy thing would be the internet’s sweetheart though.
I had better copy paste that name or there's no way I'm getting it right lol
Growing up in 1930s Poland will fuck a motherfucker up, apparently
Who woulda thought
Should've saved this for Halloween 😭
I like to think of the entire month of October as being Halloween so this is a nice post
Most will naturally like his style. Google him, he's got a lot of very similar work.
yesss i love these...also i wonder how he was able to put so much detail..
Creepy! Thanks for posting these ones!
