My mate is selling this so I'm getting it for my birthday next month.

Plays like an absolute beast and can drop down to F#. Which is crazy for a 6 string!

[–] LowExperience2368@aussie.zone 3 points 6 days ago (1 children)

What a shmexy guitar. Reminds me of a Stormtrooper! (Those two sentences are mutually exclusive)

[–] Gibsonhasafluffybutt@aussie.zone 3 points 6 days ago (1 children)

I've never seen a guitar this colour before and in real life, it looks incredible!

I mean maybe some people think storntroopers are sexy? (not me lol)

I'm sure there's fanfiction out there πŸ˜‚

lol time well spent. Took an angle grinder, orbital sander and heat gun to a random bit of wood to hold a pen, feather, post its and some elastic bands / tape on rebar. That took weeks. Still have all my fingers.

I'm going to patent it.

[–] RustyRaven@aussie.zone 5 points 6 days ago (1 children)

You need to market it for crafters. Instead of post-it notes that's a pattern holder. The rebar on the side can hold your ball of yarn, with the hole on the top for spare crochet hooks etc. Add an optional wine glass holder upgrade and you'll make a mint.

optional wine glass holder

Now my imagination is running wild heh.

Had a great time with my mate hanging out geeking out over guitars and music. We’ve known each other since high school but lost contact until a few months ago.

As for the rest of the day. Strays have been fed as well as fluffball. Might just zonk and enjoy the last of the time I’m not stressed about work stuff lol

Wevver incoming from the west. I reckon RustyRaven's plants will be well watered in by the end of tonight. Heading our way too.

[–] RustyRaven@aussie.zone 5 points 6 days ago

Fabulous news. Topping up the water tank would also be welcome.

[–] Taleya@aussie.zone 2 points 6 days ago

Yaaaas. Fill my tankies

Looks like the worst of it will pass south of Melb city. windy.com is showing quite a lot on the radar.

[–] melbaboutown@aussie.zone 5 points 6 days ago (1 children)

About to do some more UNKAOS but can’t find my iPod. Why is it always when I tidy up I can’t find anything?

[–] Seagoon_@aussie.zone 3 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Rain.

Time to go outside snail hunting.

be sure to wash hands well after touching any.

I’ve pretty much accepted that the flowers are getting nibbled so sowed them in bulk.

The pumpkin seedlings are inside on the windowsill where I think they might probably stay

I'm feeling rich today - my first travel reimbursement claim has been paid. I was initially given the wrong info from a manager who said they didn't pay travel costs, but they actually do. Which means that what was a cost item in my budget is now replaced by extra income. It's like an unexpected payrise.

Been a bit flat this weekend but have managed to put away most of Mt washmore...start a new load to dry by the window. Bought food, cooked rice and now have lentils going for part of my meal prepping. Cleaned the bathroom sink. I would say there is 16.7% less KAOS then at the start of the weekend.

About to get a coffee and catch up on some work. Have a big report due this week and really want some time today to break it's back. I will try really hard to take time in lieu for it though..

[–] imoldgreeeg@aussie.zone 6 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Oh and I won 20 dollarydoos on the horsies yesterday.

Eff these finardling elevator doors!

[–] CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 5 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Omg. A real life scenario. Rescuers will be there in 1 hour. Meanwhile Oasis or Coldplay?

Say you're stuck in an elevator and the rescuers are 1 hour away but you get to choose between 2 bands playing music through the speakers. You DO NOT have noise cancelling headphones with you. Who are you choosing? Oasis or Coldplay?

[–] SaneMartigan@aussie.zone 7 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago) (1 children)

Don't care. I was a bouncer, I can listen to shit music for hours.

Advertising radio and I might try to disable the speaker though.

I'd prefer to take my chances and plummet at terminal velocity to my demise.

[–] CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 6 points 1 week ago

Harsh but understandable
