Does he actually think this, or was it an attempt at comedy?

[–] yakko@feddit.uk 67 points 1 week ago (2 children)

He doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt. Dude is a complete asshole

[–] rafoix@lemmy.zip 17 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Do his kids hate him? He totally seems like someone that is hated by their own kids.

[–] QuoVadisHomines@sh.itjust.works 17 points 1 week ago

He publicly commented on his kid's weight idsues soyes he is likely hated by his kids.

Everyone deserves benefit of a doubt without more context. I don't even know what you're referring to about him being an asshole.

[–] yakko@feddit.uk 31 points 1 week ago

He's anti vax, transphobic, and made a comedy special about "wokeness".

He's a right-wing nut job asshole

It's hard to tell, honestly. On one hand, dude was never all that funny and he turned out to be a fucking weirdo. On the other hand, having a cursory knowledge of infant/childhood mortality in the past would make this a darkly humorous joke.

[–] QuoVadisHomines@sh.itjust.works 5 points 1 week ago (2 children)

I suspect this was a joke. He has written comedy in the past.

[–] SaveTheTuaHawk@lemmy.ca 3 points 1 week ago (1 children)

He had one skit written by the 12 year old, something about a photocopier.

[–] QuoVadisHomines@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 week ago (1 children)

He wrote a famous sketch featuring Kirstie Allie who called it the funniest thing she has ever done. It was a solid sketch.

Sandler and Smigel wrote that sketch. Not Schnieder.

[–] TomMasz@lemmy.world 2 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Calling it "comedy" is a bit of a stretch.

Some of the stuff he wrote for others was good. “Il Cantore” is his best sketch.

I love readers context. It slaps down so much bullshit misinformation and makes these people look like the dickheads that they are.

He's right, they weren't sick.

They were dead. The past was really so much better. Damn vaccines letting kids survive.

[–] DragonTypeWyvern@midwest.social 1 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

He's just wrong and very stupid.

[–] AlexLost@lemmy.world 24 points 1 week ago

Man, conservatives are so fucking stupid. They seem to think any thought they have in their head is gospel from God. Fucking morons. Way to fuck your entire country over America. It was a good run. This is why we let the adults make decisions in the rest of the world. Playground bullies do not make good leaders.

[–] Hozerkiller@lemmy.ca 20 points 1 week ago

Jeez he should have just stayed as a stapler.

Did you know Pluto didn't exist in the 19th century? Because objects only come into existence once discovered.

Also, Pangea is a myth. Continental drift didn't start until late 1960s

[–] SaveTheTuaHawk@lemmy.ca 2 points 1 week ago

That's why flying to Europe costs more.

[–] krooklochurm@lemmy.ca 7 points 1 week ago

And another lie I don't see mentioned here: Rob Schneider was never a kid. He was a stapler.

[–] Shortstack@reddthat.com 6 points 1 week ago

Well that's just patently false.

Kids are walking bags of snot and disease, every parent that doesn't hire a nanny like this prick knows this

Sure maybe in his small town.

Dude went to high school in Pacifica, California, maybe an hour south of San Francisco. The dude's just gone full anti-vaxxer.

[–] Formfiller@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago

Pacifica is 15 minutes from San Francisco
