up uP UP!!!

Now I have two Kpop songs to describe the stages of a bubble industry:

  1. Golden, mostly just for the chorus
  2. Bubble pop

This list would be a lot better if I actually listened to Kpop, but I don’t, so it’s not.

not to out myself as someone who takes family movies all too seriously but while it's relevant: i thought the plot was kinda weird. the whole movie kinda ...

spoilers for major plot points of kpop demon hunters...sets up mortals-turned-demons as being those who did terrible things and hold guilt/shame for those actions through Jinu with him betraying his family and all. but then Rumi feels guilt/shame for being half-demon because... ??? demons bad? like either demonhood is a metaphorical manifestation of one's guilty conscience, or it's just evil purple people disease, but either way Rumi's motivations make no sense. she doesn't have any big mistakes or regrets in her life as far as we know. we can see she has learned to feel shame about her half-demonhood from Celine, but neither Rumi nor we as the audience actually get any real reason to understand why. it's like a dangling metaphor.

The whole thing has a vaguely ex-catholic vibe where sin is simultaneously the result of evil actions on earth and also something that's inherently part of your soul as a human being because dumb woman ate an apple. As someone who was raised in the church to a degree it never felt unreal and actually resonated pretty hard, but also yeah it doesn't make a lot of sense logically.

Buy the dip, and the crisps.

I thought this was usd to bitcoin chart, but it was actually a bitcoin to usd chart flipped by 180 degrees. Which is a more creative joke than a usd to bitcoin chart.

This is Hercule Poirot levels of observation. Kudos.

I couldn't think of something witty to say.

Short answer: Potentially yes—for long-term holders, this dip screams opportunity. At sub-$85K, you're buying at levels not seen since early 2025, well below the October peak.

Bottom Line: Bitcoin isn't a "safe" bet—it's a high-conviction play on decentralization and scarcity. If you believe in its 10-year trajectory (as Warren Buffett might quip: only buy what you'd hold if markets closed for a decade), dollar-cost average in now.

Is there anything else I can help you with?

  • What is the difference between dollar cost averaging and throwing good money after bad
  • Should I put all my savings into $FART
  • Will bitcoin get me a girlfriend

As Warren Buffett might quip: only buy what you'd hold if markets closed for a decade

And once again the conservative sandiwch-heavy portfolio pays off for the hungry investor!

[–] Saledovil@sh.itjust.works -3 points 5 days ago (1 children)

[–] froztbyte@awful.systems 4 points 5 days ago (1 children)
