There's a reason why a driving instructor car have extra brake pedal, just so this kind of stuff won't happen.

Even without that, there's criteria to becoming a driving instructor, and a minimum age to recieve such instruction on public roads. You have to get your Permit first. 12 years old definitely doesn't cut it.
Fuck cars and all but like I feel like we already largely agree on the appropriate safeguards for this and they involve not letting children operate, like, any heavy machinery.
Like yeah this wouldn't happen if the kid were on a bike but also this could happen if the kid were in a treaded excavator and we aren't arguing to ban those.
I guess there's an argument to be made that the absurd ubiquity of cars makes underage incidents like this almost inevitable, but I agree this is certainly an edge case and not our primary complaint.
Yeah, fuck cars, but I have nothing against people learning how to drive...
The parents should pay for all the delayed train tickets.
Not sure as I don't know Italian , but from google translate it sounds like possibly the parent was driving drunk and thought maybe they could get away with it by claiming it was the child getting a driving lesson.
L'uomo è stato sottoposto agli accertamenti di rito e al test alcolemico per verificare se fosse al volante dopo aver assunto alcol e si attendono gli esiti.
The man underwent routine checks and a breathalyzer test to determine whether he had been driving under the influence of alcohol. The results are pending.
Which is why, in either case, the parents should face the consequences.

This is not really a common error. With a proper instructor learning to drive is pretty easy. Not really anti car, just don't learn to drive on your own, you psycho.
How tf do you even end up like that?
Speed. 😎
What can i say, kids good!
It's better to be taught than trained.
