Welcome to the discussion of US Politics!

- Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.
Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.
Example:

- Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
- Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
- No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.
That's all the rules!

The company has also recently started selling secondhand smartphones from Apple and Samsung on its website, which it states come “without the inflated price tag”.
However, a refurbished iPhone 15, which was launched in September 2023, costs $629 (£467) through Trump Mobile, whereas customers can buy a newer model, an iPhone 16 from 2024, directly from Apple for $699.
The grift is so real
I struggle not to blame the victims. It’s extremely well-documented that he’s a con artist and grifter. When doing business with such a person, should we not expect to get scammed?
I'll blame the victims. They've been told repeatedly what kind of man he is and exactly what he thinks of them, but they still keep buying into his bullshit.
Honestly, willfull ignorance should hurt.
I just saw Wicked 2. There was a line in that [paraphrased]:
Take it from an old carny ... If you tell them the grift, show them the truth, they'll just believe it even more!
it was never intended to ship, only receive prepayments.
Let’s face it, we’ve all had that thought that if we abandoned our morals or internal sense of justice we could make so much fucking money.
I'm remembering that $999 app for the iPhone that had no purpose other than to show others you could afford it.

It was removed almost immediately, but even in that short time, six people bought it.
When I wonder just who in the fuck would fall for one of Donvict's many ridiculous grifts, I remember this.
The complaint outlined on that wiki is funny.
"I clicked buy thinking it was a joke".
Salesmen must absolutely love them.
Salesmen must absolutely love them.
You can say that again. I'm sure a whole lot of industries are buttressed by terrible and rash decisions made by people...
PT Barnum may not have actually said it, but the quote commonly attributed to him is very true.
This way to the ~~egress~~ freedom!
The weirdest part is people who think that disregarding or not having any code of ethics in order to make money are super smart or better people. I've genuinely run into people like this, who think they're grinding and being really clever, and people who aren't just haven't thought about what they're doing or couldn't pull it off and are inferior and don't deserve wellness in society.
Stupid moral parents!
Do you think you will be able to uninstall the Burger King app from Trump phones?
you won't be able to change the wallpaper and it will just display propaganda. At 7am each day the alarm will sound letting you know it is time for the two minutes hate
Constant ticker of how much the trumpcoin/melaniacoin is trading at...
Imagine seeing this every time you unlocked your phone lol. So useful, such value.

Wow I missed the rug pull
No, that is actually one of the most important features.
To invoke the AI system you say "OK, Hamburder..." Then speak your question.
It mostly shouts back deranged crap about "sleepy Joe," but sometimes that is the actual answer to my question.
Isn't he a McD guy?

Doesn’t it seems a little preemptive to call this a “smart” phone?
Bet they'll issue refunds to the suckers who bought, right? RIGHHHHTTT????

Made in Chyna

WHAT! You mean I have to wait even longer to not buy it?
The Hogfather is grifting the same people who send their Social Security check to Joel Oafsteen and Kenneth Crapland.
LOL. I was so looking forward to see who might be carrying these around....
