I found a news piece I thought as worth sharing, but it's not in English.

Would there be any problem to share it in !news@indie-ver.se, or would it be ok?

Also the translation would be done manually by me.

I don’t personally see any issue in it, and I’m not sure the why the mods would object either :P

As long as you provide the source for the translation, or if you translated it yourself, the original source. :D
