Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). C’mon, do something…

Thoughts and prayers to the red blotch.

[–] astronaut_sloth@mander.xyz 6 points 1 hour ago

I can only imagine the blotch's suffering while being attached to that putrid growth. Best wishes to the blotch.

[–] BillCheddar@lemmy.world 6 points 1 hour ago (2 children)

This is the weirdest kind of edging i've ever heard of.

His body has automatically gone into draft deferment mode. In the coming weeks, we may see all manner of manifestations.

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 4 points 1 hour ago

In a July letter from the president’s physician, Sean Barbabella said the hand bruising was consistent with tissue irritation from frequent handshaking and aspirin use for “standard cardiovascular prevention.”

Sean Barbabella you ignorant slut.

It would be so awesome if he suddenly just dropped dead

[–] LifeInMultipleChoice@lemmy.world 2 points 16 minutes ago* (last edited 16 minutes ago)

What would it change now? Most major news sources in the U.S. would still be supporting this MAGA movement because it supports not taxing the rich. The people claiming the leader is losing their mental acquity no longer have to worry about such because you replace him with a younger white man who believes women need to know their place, trans people should all be killed, and every non-white person is a criminal. Trump didnt even believe all those things, but it seems the overton window could somehow potentially move further right with Trump's death.

If Trump dies tomorrow MAGA supporters aren't going to suddenly realize the deportation efforts and mistreatment of colored people in the U.S. was all because of underlying racism and being lied to. We would just have 2.5 years of JD Vance being President and someone like Stephen Miller puppeting/assigning Vance a VP who they think they could set up to be the next president in 2028 since they don't believe they could sell Vance as being a proper dictator.

Guess I don't have much of a glass half full look on this..

[–] socsa@piefed.social 17 points 2 hours ago

On live TV please

[–] Zombiepirate@lemmy.world 29 points 3 hours ago (2 children)

It would be so funny if he was doing one of his bullshit press conferences where he gets pathetic sycophants to bow and scrape before the king, when they gradually realize that he's been sitting there dead for about ten minutes while they pretended like nothing was wrong for fear of making him look weak.

[–] homes@piefed.world 14 points 2 hours ago (1 children)

Lol, that would be really funny

[–] FaceDeer@fedia.io 13 points 2 hours ago

"Death of Stalin" vibes, where Stalin lay dying on the floor in his room for hours because nobody wanted to risk disturbing him.

I'd say they probably have him hooked up to some type of monitor but I don't think they do. He would throw the biggest hissy fit since he would see it as a slight against him.

[–] Buffalox@lemmy.world 51 points 3 hours ago (2 children)

I sure hope it's something serious, thoughts and prayers. 🙏

[–] Wytch@lemmy.zip 31 points 3 hours ago (2 children)

Hey, whoa, whoa. Let's consider our words. Let's hope it hurts, too.

[–] FaceDeer@fedia.io 7 points 2 hours ago

I don't care if it hurts, I'm not vindictive. I just want him gone.

It'd be nice if it was embarrassing though, that might help reduce the cult of personality that will persist after he dies.

[–] Buffalox@lemmy.world 10 points 3 hours ago

As long as it's not benign, that would be awful.

By the way, look at that horribly mangled, blown-off and then reconstructed ear following the assassination attempt. Why, that bandage he wore for a few days must've been truly miraculous. Amazing /s

[–] RustyShackleford@piefed.social 19 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

It looks like staphylococcus.

[–] dhork@lemmy.world 6 points 2 hours ago (1 children)

Must be that bullshit-resistant strain, to have been able to grow so close to his talking hole

[–] Kowowow@lemmy.ca 7 points 2 hours ago

Man if some kind of outbreak happens because they can't let him die it would fit his legacy

[–] empireOfLove2@lemmy.dbzer0.com 26 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

Mf's probably on every blood thinner known to man to keep his clogged ass McDonalds arteries open.

[–] kieron115@startrek.website 3 points 21 minutes ago* (last edited 20 minutes ago)

I honestly can't tell what's satire with him anymore so forgive me if this was a joke, but I saw a quote where he said he takes like 3,000mg of tylenol daily, against his doctor's advice, to keep his blood thin because "who would want thick blood?"

[–] givesomefucks@lemmy.world 22 points 4 hours ago (2 children)

Looks like they graduated from hand IVs to neck...

Which would be horrible news for virtually any patient, but in this case I feel most wouldn't have the same reaction

[–] pigeonofparadise@lemmy.org 18 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

Nahhh it’s just “frequent handshaking” ;)

[–] AnchoriteMagus@lemmy.world 12 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

We can only hope that someone shakes him vigorously by the neck.

Hopefully with a rope.

[–] pigeonofparadise@lemmy.org 6 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

I am in favor of this medical treatment they call “noose”

[–] ThePantser@sh.itjust.works 9 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

Guillotine gives the closest shave.

[–] pigeonofparadise@lemmy.org 2 points 3 hours ago

I like to watch the treatment work its magic. But, if all we have is guillotines…. 🤷‍♂️🥰

[–] hddsx@lemmy.ca 5 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

Why are neck IVs worse than hand IVs? Does that implied a ruptured vein in your arm? I have never heard of anyone getting a neck IV but I’m also not in the medical field

[–] CaptDust@sh.itjust.works 10 points 2 hours ago* (last edited 2 hours ago)

Not in the medical field, but I think you got it right. I saw similar with my grandma, the nurses started injections with less visible areas - arms, legs, later moved to feet and finally hands as her veins collapsed. She didn't make it to the neck, but I have to think it's a sign they are running out of places to poke

[–] floofloof@lemmy.ca 8 points 3 hours ago

Should have used a more concentrated embalming fluid.

[–] Widdershins@lemmy.world -1 points 1 hour ago (1 children)

If that's how bad it looks there imagine what his piss and shit covered dick looks like 🔬

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 5 points 1 hour ago

Mmmmmmnnnno.

[–] Atelopus-zeteki@fedia.io 3 points 1 hour ago

It looks like a vampire bite, shit he better not be immortal.

[–] crazycraw@crazypeople.online 34 points 3 hours ago

[–] SaveTheTuaHawk@lemmy.ca 11 points 3 hours ago (1 children)
[–] snausagesinablanket@lemmy.world 3 points 2 hours ago

Its McDoubles leaking out his neck.

[–] tidderuuf@lemmy.world 7 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

He's a vampire! The conspiracy theory communities should be going nuts!

And right after suggesting Ted Cruz would be next on Supreme Court?

Coincidence? I think not!

[–] FuglyDuck@lemmy.world 4 points 2 hours ago (2 children)

Is Ted fucking Cruz even qualified for SCOTUS?

[–] tidderuuf@lemmy.world 8 points 2 hours ago (1 children)

Oh boy! You should lookup what qualifications are needed for the post.

[–] Zombiepirate@lemmy.world 4 points 2 hours ago* (last edited 2 hours ago)
  1. Suck up to Donald Trump

That's it. That's the list. I guess hypothetically he'd need to be confirmed by the Senate, but what are they gonna do? Not rubber-stamp an appointment?

[–] Hapankaali@lemmy.world 2 points 2 hours ago

You're right, I don't recall him being named as a suspect in a rape case.

[–] Didntdoit71@feddit.online 5 points 3 hours ago

It's shit...it happens because he has his head up his own ass...
