@cheese_greater@lemmy.world @nostupidquestions@lemmy.ca

The dissolution of all ego. The cosmic-wide nigredo. The return to the Womb, the arrival of the solipsistic Oneness at Her place of rest and nest, the gathering under Her shadow. The upheaval against the wheel of Samsara. The permanent halt of the simulacrum, the rupture of spacetime continuum. The tearing of the theatrical curtains. The scene after the ending movie credits roll up. The annihilation of the Demiurge and all his assets and archons, the definite recrown of the Cosmic Queen. The Chao ab Ordine. The Cosmic Great Reset, the primordial ultimatum. The Heat Death of the Universe... I've been craving for these things for quite a long time.

Pancakes. Flour, sweetener, leavening, liquid. Usually that means sugar, baking soda, milk, and egg, but in my experience, substitutions usually work out. Combine sweeteners and add vanilla for extra credit.

I made some fucked up pancakes for lunch today. Used very little baking soda, so it was more like a flatbread, then I fried some bean patties and basically had a pancake sandwich? It was super ugly but it was awesome.

You want choices? One of my easiest is rice+whatever. If I want greasy food in the morning but I'm too lazy to make a sandwich, I throw bacon and eggs into fried rice and call that a meal. It's genuinely incredible. You can basically throw anything into a pan with rice and it will probably work out

Are there savoury pancakes? I love potato pancakes

I just had dinner so I'm not craving anything right now, but this afternoon I was craving toasts with chicken liver pΓ’te.

Yup, I know. But damn, homemade pΓ’te is awesome. And with the right steps, it becomes part of a ~~heart attack bomb~~ decadent breakfast I love:

  • Sourdough slices, buttered on both sides, toasted. Spread the pate over them.
  • Fried eggs, with soft yolk. Salt and lots and lots of pepper.
  • The sweetest melon you can find, diced, with some slices of ham or salami over it.
  • Sliced tomatoes and cucumbers
  • Half-and-half latte. Made with fresh coffee, that woke the neighbourhood up with the smell.
  • A cigarette.

I want a fetta cheese and spinach pizza, but instead of pizza sauce, use ranch dressing instead.

I've had pizza like that once before at a friend's house years ago, and it was absolutely amazing!

[–] Asafum@lemmy.world 2 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago)

Feta, spinach, olives, on fried pizza dough. It's absolutely amazing... Also caramelized onion and anchovies on a fried pizza dough either with the typical sauce or just olive oil and garlic... Two of my grandmother's recipes I still make.

[–] cheese_greater@lemmy.world 2 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Wats it called, ranch pizza?

[–] over_clox@lemmy.world 2 points 5 days ago (1 children)

I wasn't there when they ordered it, so I don't know if it's even any 'official' menu item at fast pizza places, but more specialty pizza places will custom make basically whatever you want if you got the extra money for it.

I'm from south Mississippi, but we used to have a New York Pizza place down here that would gladly prepare that for you, but they closed down around 2020..

Now we have an Antonio's Pizza and Subs down the road that'll also gladly custom make you a pizza like that, or basically any sort of custom pizza you could imagine.

Dude, sometime you have to try non-anchovy ceasar (maybe vegetarian or vegan caesar style marinade, check the ingredients where they list the allergens, no seafood and no anchovris listed is good). Its insanely good for pizza. Its more of a vinaigrette in my opinion but its also catching on in a big way as a marinade

[–] over_clox@lemmy.world 2 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Hey, whenever it comes to pizza, my usual is supreme pizza, with basically all the standard toppings you might expect out of a supreme, including olives and mushrooms. But I'm always glad to try other different pizza arrangements, as long as it doesn't have shellfish, I'm allergic.

Also, no pineapple for me.. To each their own right?

[–] cheese_greater@lemmy.world 2 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago)

Even just to dip is fine but it would be a fineass replacement or supplement to sauce. Id say probably supplement since pizza sauce/marinara is always dope

I definitely prefer it to anchovy/fishy standard version. Hate seafood

You mean like food?

Do you fuck with salsa? Surprisingly easy to make, better than storebought

[–] cheese_greater@lemmy.world 2 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago)

Uh ONLUH fuck with salsa, altho usually storebought. My kitchenette is a sad fax of a kitchen

[–] Kolanaki@pawb.social 2 points 5 days ago

A fat, sticky blunt of some skunky purple OG.

Some peace and quiet in the world. But seeing as that won't happen, a subway sandwich would do. With good coffee and chill music.

[–] cheese_greater@lemmy.world 1 points 5 days ago (1 children)

U gotta admit hangin' here helps tho, no?

What music are you listening to

[–] NinthGladiator@lemmy.zip 1 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago) (1 children)

Usually my massive playlist with just about 7,5k songs. Varies from 80's through 2026s. So it's mostly a surprise what comes on the shuffle of that list.

[–] cheese_greater@lemmy.world 1 points 5 days ago (1 children)

U ever get into more ambient and minimal stuff? I worry cuz mainstream stuff os pretty insiscriminately + emotionall activating/depleting

[–] NinthGladiator@lemmy.zip 1 points 5 days ago

There's a few relaxation playlists, OST's plenty of that. Or are you referring to anything specific?
