I found one study that found that 100% of people who breathe oxygen die, but I found another study that found that 100% of people who don't breathe oxygen die!

[–] GreenMario@lemm.ee 13 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Can't live with it, can't live without it.

[–] radix@lemm.ee 9 points 2 years ago

_Oxygen

what is it about it?_

[–] gbuttersnaps@programming.dev 12 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Technically not 100%, a modern study has shown that there are 8 billion people who breathe oxygen currently living!

[–] sj_zero@lotide.fbxl.net 7 points 2 years ago

I found a study where they were able to exclude those examples from the data set for various reasons. :P

100% of gamblers quit right before they win

[–] sj_zero@lotide.fbxl.net 1 points 2 years ago

Every time!!

[–] Spzi@lemm.ee 26 points 2 years ago

The trick is to find a partner while you're still alive. Screw those single persons!

[–] aelwero@lemmy.world 13 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Everyone who writes on a blackboard ends up dying

[–] BolexForSoup@kbin.social 15 points 2 years ago

Yeah, I only use Post-it notes and I have never died.

AI generated images are getting more impressive.

[–] Masimatutu@lemm.ee 6 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Pretty sure Timo draws his own cartoons, what makes you believe it's AI?

If you zoom into the shading and into the professor’s face, you’ll see that the lineart is all wonky.

edit: I checked out his blog, he also has ai generated cartoons there, and his non-ai generated cartoons are more clean and vector-y

[–] Masimatutu@lemm.ee 7 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago)

Looks pretty human to me ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Edit: Damn, well spotted! That is very impressive, though.

[–] LoamImprovement@ttrpg.network 4 points 2 years ago

Also the shmutz on that student's desk.

[–] Taringano@lemm.ee 4 points 2 years ago

Wow these are pretty funny actually

[–] Wilzax@lemmy.world 3 points 2 years ago

Is this that cel shading I've heard so much about?

[–] lugal@lemmy.ml 8 points 2 years ago

Coincidence? I don't think so

[–] keepcarrot@hexbear.net 7 points 2 years ago

Dang, it sucks that death somehow causes misunderstandings of empiricism

[–] moistclump@lemmy.world 5 points 2 years ago
[–] pineapplelover@lemm.ee 5 points 2 years ago

I need this on a shirt

[–] usernamesaredifficul@hexbear.net 2 points 2 years ago (1 children)

that's not even correlation

[–] qaopjlll@hexbear.net 2 points 2 years ago

Agreed, the correlation between 2 random variables is undefined if one of the variables is actually a constant (the formula reduces to 0/0)

[–] uis@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago

Every single person who does not confuse lives forever? Good.

[–] troglodytis@lemmy.world -1 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago)

so does everyone else

And that, my friends, is the joke
