I can't remember, was that before or after the office?
It was before. Imdb lists the video from 2007 (kind of surprised it's in her credits at all but it is), she started on The Office in 2009.
Somebody saw that skit and nodded their head and went "yes. her."

If I have a guess, the cat is hospitalized for peeing or renal problems.
Ok but it also implies that there's historical data about normal / average amounts of penis licking.
There is definitely an abnormal amount. I mean, when the cat licks his penis every 15 minutes, you know it's too much, even if you don't know about his penis licking habits.
Maybe some fur in the area has been licked bald, my parents' cat got very stressed at one point and licked all the fur off of his tummy

We had the vet remove our cat's penis. Problem solved.
And to be fair it was the vet's idea

We went through this recently. His bladder got blocked twice by crystals. He couldn't pass them the first time. They cleared them and then put him on medicated food. He blocked again and we got then cleared again. The third time they got blocked, the cut his penis in half and stitched each half to his butt so he could pass his own crystals.
Before all this, he was licking a lot due to discomfort. We were fast in taking him to the vet when he couldn't pass fluids. Anything longer than a couple of days and his kidneys could have failed.
Similar story, but the way our vet explained it is they removed the penis entirely and rerouted the urethra and widened the opening. He pees like a girl cat now basically.
Maybe we're explaining the same surgery, but our vets explained it differently to us
