I'm old enough to remember the age of the mainframe, when CPU time and access was controlled by greedy corporations, and you had to plea with the idiot technies in charge of the system who thought they were demigods, that were nicknamed BOFHs - bastard operators from hell - to get anything done, and solve your problems.
The PC revolution freed us from that stifling nonsense. Finally the damn computers were controlled by their rightful owners! And now we're right back into the same old nonsense, like the dog returns to its own cold vomit.
The world needs more victims of the cloud, so that we can end the madness once again some day...
