Don't fire Eberflus mid season. He is a great coach for a tanking team. Fire him at the end of the season.

Bagent has won us 2 out of our 10 games this season. Say what you will about the opposition but he is a solid back-up. Looking forward to Fields in 10 days but he has to step up.

Just like with Bryce Young, Bagent could develop into a pretty good QB one day. He's a rookie, these things can take time. But unlike Bryce Young, I'm glad we didn't bet our franchise on him being the QB of the future lol

I’m terrified that all it’s gonna take for Flus to keep his job is just win one more game. He can technically sell this season as “progress” over a literal tank attempt last year.

Bryce Young seems like a Trubisky/Nagy or Fields/Eberflus situation. Guy doesn't seem to have the fire in him. Maybe he'll get better down the road though.

Offensively Panthers had just 6 points. Our D looked strong with all starters operating in the secondary.

No shout outs to former Bear Eddie Pineiro for missing that kick by about 3 yards. Was I the only one thinking he didn't have the leg?

Bagent has been phenomenal for the position he's been put in. Hats off.

That being said, the dude just needs more time. Jumping 3 levels of football is insane. He's seemingly got a great view of the field, but the arm strength needs work

Glad the Bears won a game they really needed, but it doesn’t absolve them from being so bad they couldn’t run a kneel down without a false start.

2-2 from bagent is awesome. He had ups and downs, but his ceiling is higher than I originally thought. That being said, it's time for the kid to go back to developing behind the scenes. Justin needs to take the reigns and let it rip the rest of the season. Bear down

I just realized that a undrafted qb beat the first overall pick in the draft and their stats were almost exactly the same lmao that’s gotta hurt the panthers

UDFA div 2 back up QB came in and beat the #1 pick. They gave us DJ moore and a haul of picks to claim him. cant ask for more. kid was 4th on the depth in camp.

What were the special plays on offense in the second half that Eberflus was spouting off about after halftime? Al Michaels was genuinely excited by it. I didn't see anything besides boring shit that thankfully didn't turn the ball over.

Not a flashy stat line for Bagent but 0 turnovers and made some plays when he needed to. Also we probably lose that game or go into OT if he didn’t lead us on that FG drive from our own 9 to close out the half. If that’s the last we’ve seen of Bagent for the year I was impressed with him. Def not starting material but he’s got potential. Hope he sticks around on the bears in some fashion for a long time

All I can think of is how bad that trade was for Carolina.

We played possibly the worst team in the nfl without all their best players on defense and almost lost. Let’s not overreact. Fire the coaching staff.

Game manager QBs won’t get you anywhere in the modern NFL please stop praising Bagent for not turning the ball over as if he did something impressive tonight. They barely beat the worst team in the league. I do think he has potential as a backup but for the love of God let’s get Fields back out there and start putting up 30 points again and see how the team looks against better teams now that the defense is healthy and maybe picking up some steam

I've never seen Eberfuck so happy in a postgame. I don't like it.

Getsy's offense is so depressing. Even when the plays are working, we move the ball at such a snail's pace that we never even get close to the red zone.

Y’all, I just read multiple takes that said we would have lost the game if Fields started and I just have one question for those people: How do you enjoy watching football when you don’t understand the game at all?

We have not seen the last of Bagent on a NFL field, perhaps even in a Bears uniform. I think he’s here for the duration of his contract, I wouldn’t be so quick to dump a backup. Stability is good.

I am excited to have Justin back for this stretch against division rivals. This franchise needs a decisive answer on him by the end of the season, and we aren’t getting that with him on the sideline. These are going to be the three most important games of his life.
