I would not be surprised to see the Bears eke out 3, maybe even 4 more wins in the homestretch. Starting with tonight.

The offense should be able to score points, and the D might even be able to hold a depleted Vikings team to less than 27.

Bears 27 Vikings 17.

Flus is determined to own all the negative records before he’s shitcanned.

#4

The only truly generational QB drafted in the last half dozen years has been Mahomes, who went to a team that made the playoffs 4 of the 5 years previous to his becoming the starting QB. Under a coach that had 20 years of experience before he won his first Superbowl.

Build a team first. There’s always going to be QB’s to draft, and nobody knows which one is the special one.

If I absolutely had to choose this very moment, it would be Mayes.

Yeah, as bad as he is, Claypool and Velus et al aren’t Flus’s fault.

Why hire a new head coach if you’re going to saddle him with Poles?

Sadly, letting Poles trade for Sweat means he’s sticking around.

Bears didn’t win. The Panthers lost.

A quality QB would have picked that defense to shreds.

6:10 Bears are punting, one of my buddies gets up to grab us some beers. ‘You might want to wait’ I say, ‘this return is going for a touchdown.’ They made me be quiet for the rest of the game.

Glad the Bears won a game they really needed, but it doesn’t absolve them from being so bad they couldn’t run a kneel down without a false start.

Who could have imagined that this years Bears most important game would come down to having to beat a one win team.

And having serious doubts about their chances.

So which is worse, the Alan Williams sieve defense or the Eberflus no tackle method?

My favorite point of the game was the shot of a sunglasses wearing Fields trying to hide his Kush mart eyes.

Honestly, if this loss hastens the departure of this staff, I’m all in.
