After the implosion of my prior life, and spending over 5 years totally alone, no friends, no family, etc. in my life while I processed what had happened, why it had happened, and what I needed to become to prevent it from happening again, and recovered myself physically and mentally, I emerged last August and began integrating myself back into society, and I've never been better. I'm still working on the remnants of issues as I strive to become my best self, but at 60 years old I am literally better in every way than I was in my prime. I am stronger, more muscular and fit, have better endurance, and am better looking than I was in my prime. I am also more confident and secure and am attracting women in their prime that I would have been thrilled to attract at 25. This is more or less the path I've been on, and finding that path was a matter of necessity, not choice.
Long story short, I was raised by narcissistic parents, and as a consequence let a lot of shitty people into my life, including my ex-wive who was a malignant narcissist/sociopath. She viewed me as a resource to be exploited, and and the shit hit the fan when I discovered that my life insurance had been doubled to $2M without my knowledge or consent, and was being subjected to a gaslighting campaign calculated to drive me to suicide. My shitty family, including my parents, were participating. It took me a long time to disentangle myself from the situation, during which I was subjected to campaign of stalking and harassment. I was literally the only person I could trust. It took a lot to dig myself out from that, but that which does not kill you only makes you stronger. I wish I could go back in time and change a lot of things, but all I can do is move forward.
