Look, I am just some goober who had to punch a new hole in his belt with a nail after eating too much pumpkin pie and mashed potaters. But even my bloated ass knows that Brian Flores is gonna spend almost any chance he has blitzing on Monday night. Have Kmet ready to chip and have Justin practice the hot routes. If he holds the football for more than 2.5 seconds I will kick you in your Eberballs -- especially if he gets hurt again.

Can’t wait for a free rusher sacking JF1 on the first play again.

[–] MacBear54@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Isn’t this the game that we got the Warner’s watching memes?

[–] suckmyfatfuckinballs@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Yeah fr why do I feel like Eberflus is gonna do whatever it takes to lose this game and will bend over backwards kicking and screaming to allow the offense to look as abysmal as possible? Like some bloated guy on Reddit legit knows better.

Soooo Justin gets a pass if he plays like shit (coaches fault) and if he plays good it’s all Justin, right?

That’s all I am hearing in this post and replies.

Maybe a sack on the second play of the game instead of the first

[–] serbeardless@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I feel like this should be addressed to Getsy and not Flus. Flus sucks, but he's not the one who only got his job because a HOF QB bailed him out of his stupid decisions.

What does the QB coach of a HoF QB actually do? Make funny jokes to entertain him through the monotony of training camp and a 17 week schedule?

[–] suckmyfatfuckinballs@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Gets him water, coffee, sandwiches, picks up takeout etc.

[–] JulioXstatic@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Probably include a couple foot massages and you're right on the money

Fields is the guy that needs a heads up, he looked lost out there last time.

Tell fields that when there are 6 d linemen and he only has 5 o linemen that he will get hit if he doesn’t throw the ball at the top of his drop.

[–] Magazine-Soggy@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

You’d think they’d learn from a few weeks ago, but I doubt it. Maybe with our OLine healthy we can not play like crap?

[–] crantastic@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

So... do more screen passes? Is that even possible?

[–] WearTheFourFeathers@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I know they’ve been ok against the run, but I do wonder if we don’t just pound it 30 times and see what happens.

[–] orlando85g@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I mean we prefer for him not to be ready

[–] lidongyuan@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Sad but true

If these last few games are to test whether Fields is QB1 next year, I view this as the first midterm. This is the chance to show improvement in his greatest weakness which is processing speed.

[–] Makes_U_Mad@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I'm calling bullshit on the "testing the QB" storyline. After the second to last drive in the Lions game, it's clear to me that is just the line they are gonna use as an excuse to trade him, probably for picks because the ownership is focused on money, not winning games.

Then I get to watch this sorry ass excuse for a NFL club ruin another high potential QB draft pick. And this sorry ass excuse for a fan base blame it on the kid.

[–] mrbucket08@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

And on the field, I hope Fields remembers that 6 rushers are more bodies than 5 linemen and reacts accordingly.

Brian Flores is call blitz every game. No biggy

[–] Express-Region7347@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I knew after the first play from scrimmage we were going to lose that first Minnesota game.

That play lives rent free in my head.

[–] lkn240@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Yep - I was like "I see we are back to this again"

[–] Jake-Old-Trail-88@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

So you’re telling me to run Kmet on long routes or pull him. Provide no RB blocking help on the edges, and let Justin run 7 steps drops and hold the ball 🏈 until he gets hit. Definitely don’t allow the pocket to move or roll him out.

[–] Feeling_Mushroom6633@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I won't be watching the game, but I'd lay money on it that our first snap on offense is a sack fumble.

[–] duhbears23@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Not so Breaking news: he wasn't ready
