Mhj and that Penn state tackle…. The only two options
Chicago Bears
Malik Nabers is a stud too
Nabers seems ridiculously underrated to me. Seems like a lot of guys have their focus on these physical freaks like Coleman, Odunze or Legette but Nabers is as complete as a Wide Receiver could be. Actually wouldn’t be mightily surprised if he’s able to match MHJs career in the NFL. Currently leads the NCAA in recieving btw
Nabers is great, but don’t sleep on Odunze. He has “it”
I really like him as well.
But spending a 1st on a WR isn't worth it, specially in this draft that have the best selection of WRs since 2020. You'll be able to find great receivers in the middle of the round, or even in the second round(Nabers, Coleman, Odunze and others).
If I had the first pick, I would either draft a QB with it, or trade down and try to draft him with the third or second pick. If by some reason we're unable to get him, we should draft the best tackle available, or trade down to get another WR.
Nabers Coleman and Odunze are all going top 20.
We also have no 2nd rounder.
If we trade Fields we might get a 2nd.
I doubt Nabers and Coleman Fall to the second round. Doubt at least one of them will even fall outside of the Top 10
The giants already paid their qb. They need weapons for him. He will drafted by the giants.
QB is not out of possibility for the Giants. The Jones Deals is pretty much a glorified two year deal. But their whole offense outside of LT, RB and probably TE could need some fresh talent
We see how stubborn front offices are. They do not want to admit that they made a mistake. Eberflus is still employed, VJJ is still on the roster. The bears sat Thomas jones for Cedric bensen. The giants will start Daniel jones as long as they possibly can. They want to prove they made a good decision so they’ll get him some talent.
Reading through these posts and comments just make me sad for the state of our fanbase.
So much koolaid and delirium
Can you promise not to adopt the nickname “Maserati Marv?”
For once, our receivers aren’t the weak link. Would love MHJ, but we have bigger holes to fill. If they are willing to spend big in FA to fill the other areas, than go get him
Really gotta hope the cardinals win 2 more games
He is generational talent. You take him, because you can.
Caleb Williams? Let someone else deal with that inevitable disappointment
!remindme 1 year
I think if we got MHJ you could argue we would have the best WR duo in the league. Waddle/Hill, Chase/Higgins (depends on Higgins FA), Brown/Smith, Moore/Harrison. I think that duo would rival Hill Waddle as the best in the league. But no matter what i think today further cemented MHJ as the best prospect in this years draft
Has to be 1st. He's the best player in the country, he's the best player in the draft.
Phrasing
Will he be there at 5?
Im here as a packer fan so based in the title you guys have the 1st overall pick(from the panthers i assume) and 5th from ur guy’s record. So do you guys beleive in fields being the guy or is it time to draft maye or williams? Mhj and dj would obviously be a force to be reckoned with but is fields up to that?
All I care is that he's on our team next year.
Bears didn't send a scout to the game today.
So, whatever that means.
Honestly, my hope at this moment is we get MHJ and Fashanu with our two top 5 picks and then grab one of the "tier 2" QB prospects in the second round (or trade our 2nd and a player/additional pick to move up to the late first).
These posts are exhausting. We need a QB, Fields isn’t it. I want MHJ more than anyone, but we need a QB and that’s what we should be focusing on. MHJr is the luxury piece we hope we can get. MHJr won’t get the targets and stats you think he will when Fields is holding the ball too long, getting sacked constantly, and still has a bonafide WR1 in DJM. We are taking a QB with the first pick, or potentially trading down to 2 if they like Maye more. Hopefully we can get both
Bears will screw his brain up
I was at the game today (life long Michigan Fan). I always thought MHJ was great, but a little over hyped....not anymore. Everything you hear about this dude is true. They didn't target him enough. The separation he gets, speed off the line, routes he runs, his size...watching him on TV just doesn't do it justice. He's working whoever is covering him on every single play, it's a shame his QB is terrible. Fields being the guy the rest of the season and drafting MHJ would be absolutely amazing, and I legit hate him lol.
