This couldn't be any closer to the truth.

I’m torn tbh. Idk how to feel.

On one hand, Fields makes some absolute backbreaking mistakes in the worst times.

On the other hand, you have one of the most inept coaching staffs in the history of the league “developing” him.

Idk wtf should happen anymore.

Williams and Maye have shown not to be "OMG YOU HAVE TO DRAFT THIS GUY" QB prospects to me. They may well be great, but they're both going to need work and some luck.

I'd much rather the Bears shore up the rest of the roster and figure out coaching, namely on the OC side, before trying to draft a new QB.

I think the majority of QBs coming out of college have question marks. Fields had issues, Stroud had issues..they all do. Most analysts agree that this draft class is loads better than ‘25 & Maye/Williams are top tier talents.

The question really becomes..do you try again with a top prospect or do you run it back with a flawed QB in year 4 & an entirely new coaching staff?

The texans looked like a dumpster fire before and after the draft. Not saying stroud is single handily carrying the Texans to relevancy but they wouldn’t be in the position they are with Davis mills at QB. I think bears fans underestimate the value of a QB cause we’ve never had a QB of value.

Shout out to The Full Go Podcast in general. Love Jason Goff and the crew!

Careful now... People round here don't like him from his Score days

[–] frolfkitty@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I listened to him a fair bit on the score, what's people's issue with it?

Coaches that are paid to throw the games call same repetitive plays. Just sayin.

Yawn - Fields is going to get traded and tear up the league just like Trubisky did I'm sure

[–] mrbucket08@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Yep, some fans have pretty bad takes. This is like a greatest hits of this sub's bad truther takes.

  • he's not being given a fair shot even though the team has clearly built around him and Getsy has tried to remove the concepts from the playbook that Fields just can't do
  • the coaches are actively sabotaging justin fields (very smart thing to do when you're fighting to save your job that is tied to developing this guy)
  • He's going to ball out elsewhere (just like trubisky)
  • the bears are cursed at developing a QB apparently
  • this weird thing where they get way too excited at the idea of the bears suffering because we're not more concerned with giving fields an NFL career than we are with winning a superbowl

Did the coaches make fields fumble twice?

Did the coaches makes him air mail Mooney and get him decked?

Do you Fields truther conspiracist morons realize the BEST thing for this coaching staff to keep their jobs and make millions is if Fields is good? They would all get extended if they turned him into a top 10 Qb. Now they are going to get fired because he’s fizzled out.

If they were sabotaging him they would only be hurting themselves.
