I made these stands for my kids. There was little room on each side of their bookshelf but I think they worked out.

Made them out of pine, I know it is far from ideal but had a few planks laying around.

One of my nephews drew and framed it for my eldest son. Its a character from a cartoon way unsuitable for him.
