Drink Cuke! It's heaven in a can
This was my pathway through as well, FB, Twitter, Insta, and Snap. Stopped using those accounts and shifted over to Reddit for my 'social' fix. Just recently went through and manually deleted all my posts and comments and finally my account from Reddit, now just on Lemmy and kind of on Mastodon.
Anyone here jumped in yet?
How's it running?
And the Fediverse doesn't have all of those already?
These are inescapable in the modern age internet unfortunately, however the decentralisation of the Fediverse should help in alleviating those symptoms of an open platform.
More users provides more diversity - More diversity provides the potential for more niche interests to arise - More active niche communities provides more reasons for existing users to stay - More active users staying on the platform inevitably attracts more new users.
Ah true! I've never read Piers Anthony's work before, but have been recommended him in the past as a sci-fi fan.
I'm interested to see if I pick up on these things too!
Interesting about the snipers comment. Does the game limit the amount of snipers per team? Or is it more like BF1 for example where everyone can be a sniper if they want?
More users to accommodate more active niche communities

Thankyou!
I'm thinking Abbotsford at this stage, but also super open to Thornbury and Coburg (loved the vibe around Thornbury and High Street)

Business transactions. Think of small business that deal with cash, or paying contractors, etc.
There's many reasons larger bills still exist, even just larger cash transactions like buying a second hand car gives a reason for larger bills to continue to exist.
