Denuvo, hearing that the music isn't as good, the performance issues, and crashes have all but killed my hype for the game. I might still cave in and buy it, but I probably should just support a better company instead.

I don't use Inkscape, but that is a good hat.

Right? In the past we got software for free when we let companies use our data. Now they want to take our money too.

As far as I can tell, Doom the Dark Ages has it, and many reviews are quite good. I don't know if they're good enough to convince me to install it though. Maybe I'll wait until they remove it months or years later.

You could also be a radiologist.

I agree on that character design. Control came to mind as soon as I saw it.

I thought hoodoo was a rock formation.

O'Brien, transport all of our ship's sewage to their bridge.

La Mulana for sure! It's a game where you play as professor Lemeza Kosugi (i.e. Japanese Indiana Jones) exploring an ancient temple. I admit that I did not have the patience for it. The map is huge and exploration is very non-linear. You also have to solve fairly obscure puzzles. If you really wanted to give it a go, I'd keep hand-written or typed notes separate from the in-game notes. They only let you save so much data at once, and you need more notes (or a good memory). I still kind of loved exploring the maps even partially though. It's pretty huge and ambitious in scope.

The combat and movement are not fantastic though. Not bad, but they feel very limiting compared to typical metroidvanias that let you style on enemies as you get better at the game. The game is not very shy about how it enjoys killing you too! I respect it, but it was tough for me to enjoy.

It's crazy that racists just have an axe to grind with people who are even vaguely accepting. If a game is too "woke" just shut up and let us have our fun. No one is making you play it. Kudos for the professor's self-confidence. I hope she is safe from crazy people on the web.

HL 2.̅9̅ doesn't have the same ring to it, but it equals 3.

I remember someone pointed out that GIMP probably would never get adopted in a company or professional environment just because of the name. Imagine suggesting that someone should use "GIMP" in a work meeting, lol. It's not necessarily a problem, but it's a funny limitation that they put on the software.

Does anyone happen to know where to find the manual or additional info on this calculator? I found very little info on this site, but that was it (http://www.calcuseum.com/SCRAPBOOK/BONUS/15091/1.htm)

The electronics seem to work, but the printer only feeds up to a certain point, where the paper is right below the ribbon. Then it stops feeding even when I press the up button. If something is wrong with the printer, I admit that I don't know where to start with troubleshooting it. The metal parts that push the ribbon against the spinning numbers also don't move at all, but the two plastic wheels spin the ribbon around.

I've tested all configurations of the switches above the keypad, and I can't seem to turn off the printer either. That probably is just a result of me not knowing how to use it though. If anyone has troubleshooting advice or even just ideas on what sources to use for further research, it'd be much appreciated!

These are my first IEMs! They are very good for the price as I expected from the reviews, but I didn't expect them to sound almost as good as my over-ear headphones. (soundstage aside)

Maybe I'm just imagining this, but I feel like I can hear more small details with these IEMs than my over ear headphones in higher price brackets. (Sennheiser HD-599 and Beyerdynamic MMX-300). In your experience, do IEMs beat the value of over-ear headphones in lower price brackets?

Either way, I'm impressed by this product. If you want to try some IEMs without spending a lot of money, I can definitely say that you should look into these! After owning them for longer, I'll see if my opinion changes.

I am thinking of trying a new OS on my Pixel 8 pro, and I’m wondering if switching will require me to inform or update my cell service provider, Verizon, in any way to stay connected. When I just moved my SIM card from one device to another, I learned that it activates an anti theft feature after a couple of days of working normally. This was easily fixed with Verizon support, but it was a hassle since I’m still on my parents’ phone plan. Am I likely to have this or a similar issue after installing a new OS, or should my cell service and data continue to work?
