Yeah. I lean towards the Metroid games more because I've played more of tyem. But I've played and enjoyed Castlevania games too. Although not Symphony of the Night yet, which is probably slightly sacrilegious.

Cool. I personally like Metroidvania's so it's not the art style that grabbed me first but the genre. With that said I really like the style, I think it looks bloody lovely.

Do we count Frodo sitting on his arse for the best part of a decade as a point in his favour? Even before he was stabbed he and the hobbit posse were almost killed by the barrow-wight. No wonder he needed someone as amazing as Sam to go along with him.
