This made me think of that time my partner's brother told me in complete earnest that he'd be able to jump off a skateboard going 20+ mph and run it out based solely off the fact that the fastest recorded human running speed is 28 mph and therefore he, an average fit 20 y.o. should be able to achieve 75% of that.
He's proven that he can't be reasoned with and is effectively immune from accountability. At this point, casting blame upon him is essentially the same as blaming a natural disaster for the destruction it causes. If you get burned while playing with fire, would it be rational to blame the fire?
I also hate that that's our reality. But I see people arguing that blaming Democrats for dropping the ball gives Trump and the Republican party a free pass to be shitty and this is my dilemma.

This war on Gaza is growing increasingly unpopular and people feel powerless to stop the ongoing genocide being conducted by Israel. I don't support attacks against random civilians but I'm not surprised somebody saw an opportunity to make a statement. These deaths are on Netanyahu along with the tens-of-thousands of Palestinians killed since the war started.
