I'd say it would be better if there was more transparency into the APIs and sdks being used by which apps.

That, or a Linux os.

This is why I run all non FOSS apps on a work profile via shelter and keep them frozen until I need to use it.

Umm...maybe the wildlife would do better in places that people "neglect". Like maybe people planting the same fruit trees and flowers and cutting down tall grass is the real issue for wildlife?

Why would that be app based instead if just using local sensors at the intersection?

This article is everything wrong with the USA right now.

Here is a list of how to avoid tyranny from the book On Tyranny

  • Do not obey in advance
  • Defend institutions
  • Beware the one-party state
  • Take responsibility for the face of the world
  • Remember professional ethics
  • Be wary of paramilitaries
  • Be reflective if you must be armed
  • Stand out
  • Be kind to our language
  • Believe in truth
  • Investigate
  • Make eye contact and small talk
  • Practice corporeal politics
  • Establish a private life
  • Contribute to good causes
  • Learn from peers in other countries
  • Listen for dangerous words
  • Be calm when the unthinkable arrives
  • Be a patriot
  • Be as courageous as you can.

If the regime wants to change the way you do business. Make them make you. Let them sue you to get rid of your DEI program for instance.

What the fuck is this telling companies to appease a peodpfiliic rapist who has ambitions to be a dictator? Might as well tell CEOs to offer him their 14 year old daughters too.

That's ok, I wanted to compile the latest release candidate on you anyway.

Sounds to me like the guy getting brutalized was the one "under fire" and the police officer wont even get a slap on the wrist.

I really hate how modern headlines use words like "under fire" or "slammed" or insert other words that sounds like someone in power is actually being held accountable but in a WWE style wrestling match.

You are correct, the police officer on scene is supposed to determine the innocence of the people that they are giving the pre-arrest brutalizing to.

I'm planning on getting a framework laptop in Canada.

Most of my hardware is made in Taiwan or South Korea at the moment. Im sure some components are from china.

I'd pay more for hardware made in Europe that's upgradeable and doesn't come with windows or other bloatware preinstalled.

I won't buy hardware from USA or China.

And maybe it also matters what's going on with your body and food on a holistic level. There have been a lot of studies on coffee that try to isolate so much that they mistake the forest for the trees.

Does using tramp count?
