So far, confronting them and demanding they identify themselves while filming / live streaming has been pretty good at making them leave.

  • They do not identity themselves.
  • They refuse to shows badges.
  • They hide their identities.
  • They would rather leave then try to do what they claim their job is when confronted about any of this.

At what point can we start calling them paramilitary?

The policy set forth in the March 20, 2018, Memorandum entitled "Guidance Regarding Use of Capital Punishment in Drug-Related Prosecutions" is hereby reinstated. In addition to drug-related prosecutions, the policy shall also be applied to cases involving non-drug capital crimes by cartels, transnational criminal organizations, and aliens who traverse our borders and remain in the United States without legal status.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

The 1st Amendment should guarantee the right to freedom of religion, freedom of speech, and freedom of the press, the right to protest, and the right to talk to all levels of government about grievances.

Recently, I saw headlines that seem to indicate all 5 of those freedoms are being challenged via either executive order, by law enforcement (dispute the laws stating the contrary), or by the suggestion of very powerful people within the government (elected or otherwise).

I know that there will be pushback against these challenges to our essential liberties. But they will also be slow and require enforcement.

I'm just wondering at what point do we know that our freedoms are actually gone for good. And if we wait to know the answer, will there be anything left to do about it?

Here is a fun little thought experiment. What if the billionaire class was working with conservatives to bring about the collapse of democracy worldwide so that they could start their own little self governed authoritarian corpo-states with a CEOs as kings and regular people as menial labor slaves?

This does sound like a conspiracy theory, so take it with a grain of salt...but remember when the richest man in the world (who wants to colonize Mars) gave a certain salute at the Capitol Building with plenty of other billionaires looking on?

We all keep saying that AI is ruining the platform... Well, Google and YouTube have doubled down on AI slop. They want creators to use ai as much as possible to churn out content that they can better monetize... they also want to train on our videos so they can create their own ai influencers... it's dystopian.
