Thank god! Best way to have a “normal” watch face and then one for purely exercising, etc.
I could see a use case of iPhone-as-console though, so hooking it up to a tv and using a Bluetooth controller (they work well). If there’s little to no lag, we’re at a stage where a phone could be Switch-like.
I think the Touch Bar was a novel idea but I see two things that were needed for it to be a success:

It could not replace the function keys.

It’d have to be on some kind of mechanism that raised it slight at an angle when the Mac opened, perhaps up to a 30 degree angle so that you could use it when you were lower or higher to the keyboard.
Most important thing was #1 though.
I hope the profile is low because it’d be a shoe in for a soundbar. If the profile is too high, it’ll obscure the bottom of most TVs.
