Should I be worried about Thunderbird too?

What in the AI is that background?

Switch mom and dad and this was my house growing up. My dad routinely cried watching the news. It was wild to start dating and I had to learn that most men arent free with their emotions. My husband is a crier too. It's nice, we like not guessing each others feelings.

FR. My dad is dead and my mom is broke. And she's partially broke because she helped me pay for college and I'm beyond grateful. But there's no way she could help me financially anymore.

I dunno. I feel like a few countries made a similar bet (but to a higher extreme) during the Arab spring and it went extra bad. It's important to be careful about who and what you're trying to replace an authoritarian system with.

For this race, I agree. The worst he can be is a Fetterman... Who sucks but is still better than fucking Dr. Oz.

But be careful with this line of thinking. It's very similar to how the right ended up voting for Trump. It's actually how a lot of really awful governments gained power. "Anything different" than the current catastrophe does not inherently mean better.

Im pretty wary... i think hes probably got a bit of authoritarian streak and probably got this tat when he was young and dumb and in the military which leans right. I also think people change and he has changed. I think he's taken a hard left on the economy and class consciousness.

But is his authoritarian streak gone? His reddit comments show that at the time of posting he had little sympathy for sexual assault victims and was at the very least kinda weird about black people. Hes also very pro gun, which I dont find to be an inherent issue and I even agree the left needs to be more prepared and armed, but when lined up with other problematic views it stresses me out. And I dont realllly trust all of his hand waving around the tattoo and reddit comments.

But maybe should we embrance that hes a bit of a bulldog in an era when the left is so toothless? Also its almost impossible to do worse than Susan Collins lol.

I read fried shrimp instead of friendship at first.

Agreed. I'm anti-authoriatiran first and a leftist second. I'll gladly overlook disagreements on most policy for the sake of unity, but I won't overlook authoritariansm.

I think, for some people, calorie counting is frutrating. Personally, I'm a bit too neurotic for it. I get really caught up in the details and coutning every calorie right and then frustration when the calories are reported incorrectly or if mutliple sources give different calorie values for the same raw ingredient. I honestly get so obsessive when I try to calorie count it becomes a borderline eating disorder. And, in fact, calroie counting has resulted in eating disorders for many people.

I think it's good for a lot of other people. But, when it boils down to it, any diet you can stick to is the right diet for you. Seriously, research has shown time and time again that, after a few months, most diets have the same weight loss results for most people if they stick to it. So I personally don't find the "its just calories in and out" rhetoric thats really popular to always be the most correct or helpful statment.

Ok but my point is you're not just eating cake so its hard to keep track of the linear relationship sometimes. Calorie reporting can be incorrect and bodies are weird. That's all I'm saying.

Realistically, being on most any diet is equally effective. From simple calorie counting to the keto diet. It turns out that, if you find a diet you can stick to, then just kind of paying attention to what you're eating in a general sense works.
