Did you choose the kit? Pro or standard? How do you feel about the results vs manual operation? I’ve been on the fence about it because I’d want the pro model and that’s half the price of my classic. But, if this brings it to the level of its $2k sibling GT, that definitely seems worth it.

Little fishy. App isn’t necessary. Use Siri shortcut. Even with free subscription, the app doesn’t directly have a water remover feature.

Too much oil. Make the coat of oil nearly invisible, then season upside down so it can’t pool up like that. The sticky spot will get better. Just use it or season it again. The good ol’ “cook some bacon in it.”
