Tony would have been a fool not to aggressively push to re-sign her. She's a cornerstone of the company at this point.

A streaming service has no name.

How many of them star three EVPs of the studio that makes them, though?

Also, some folks on BlueSky have been pointing out there's one particular person they're probably worried about offending, that they signed a non-disparagement agreement with (and whom the dirtsheets once reported had already had his lawyers send them a nastygram over a joke they made on BTE that wasn't actually related to him).

Better than Ric Flair's dumb energy drink, I guess

Bring back Battledome, and then bring back WCW so they could do another ill-conceived crossover with it.

Also, bring back WMAC Masters. Only tangentially related to this, but that show was awesome.

Can't wait to for CM Punk to get scheduled in a match on the show.

Can I just say, I fucking hate that line in particular. It's a thought-killing cliché.

Of course we can't know what's in anybody's mind or heart. So we have to go by their actions. And his actions were, quite plainly to anybody with eyes, a Nazi salute. And honestly, it's not surprising or shocking that he would do one; his other actions around the world scream "Nazi".

Man, for years, I had right wing dickbags telling me Snopes was leftist propaganda because it debunked all their crazy bullshit. And now they go and pull something like this.

Stunned to see SLC, of all places, do this. I'd have thought the Mormon church would have used their considerable influence to put a stop to it. I'm sure they tried to do so, and am pleasantly surprised to see they failed.

Anyway, rock on Boise and SLC. Love you guys. Thanks for standing by our communities when it seems like everyone else is getting as far away as possible.

Oh, fuck off with your bigoted bullshit that "we all know".

Multiple states: "Let's literally use the force of law to ban trans people from existing."

This jackoff: "Hmmm, I just don't know if the bourgeoisie is really against trans rights! It's so hard to tell!"

I'm not going to weigh in on the defederation issue. I don't use enough .ml communities to know how this guy's views reflect in the moderation policies of the instance. But fuck him in particular.

The problem with moving to another server software is that there's a much bigger developer ecosystem around Lemmy. Other projects simply can't match that.

Like, there are multiple Lemmy clients in Google Play and F-Droid, for example. There isn't even one for PieFed in either store.

More than 100 Arizona Palestinian, Arab, Muslim, and progressive Democrats and community leaders have signed a letter making the case for those reluctant to support Kamala Harris against Donald Trump.

“We know that many in our communities are resistant to vote for Kamala Harris because of the Biden administration’s complicity in the genocide,” the letter, published Thursday night, reads.

“Some of us have lost many family members in Gaza and Lebanon. We respect those who feel they simply can’t vote for a member of the administration that sent the bombs that may have killed their loved ones,” the letter continued. “As we consider the full situation carefully, however, we conclude that voting for Kamala Harris is the best option for the Palestinian cause and all of our communities.”

This is great news. He's been fantastic in his appearances so far.

Wonder if this will be what sets Punk over the edge this time (a la the "Workers' rights" line from Hangman).

Tap for spoilerJoe is going to be out for a while filming season 2 of Twisted Metal, so the whole Jericho trying to kill him with a forklift thing was to write him out for a couple of months.

Looks like Dax has a hematoma in his back he's been working through since April, but it's bad enough that he's taking time off now.

Get well soon, Dax.

Cope apparently fractured his tibia during the cage match with Malakai Black, and will need surgery to repair it. Hope to see him back and healthy soon.

Great news here. That bump was gnarly.

Also, still not calling him Killswitch.

Notes from the Dynasty media call.

Good to see him come out so strong in support of Nyla here. Interesting when he says they'll have to "evaluate" how they handle future events in Oklahoma too.

Kenny better watch out. That's the son of Apollo Creed he's calling out.

This is the most hilarious thing I've ever seen. Yeah, we're all going to forget that Vince McMahon was part of WWE.
