I like to go during Advance voting so that I can stop thinking about it, and if I forget to do it early I still have a few days leeway.
My eyes. Everything I've seen of AI detectors does not Inspire confidence in me. I don't feel like I can trust their results due to the inevitability of incorrect guesses, so I don't bother using them.
Aren't there similar websites like 8chan that serve the same purpose? I may be out of the loop but won't they migrate there?
I have all my apps running in Docker under Jailmaker and I don't intend on moving to TrueNAS apps unless I am forced to. Currently I could move this entire setup to any machine I want, set up my jail mount points, launch up Dockge and I'd be up and running (with the same static IP at that!). If I moved to TrueNAS apps I think the transition and handling of mount points would probably be painful. If they remove jailmaker support in 25.xx like I've heard I'll look into Incus or other solutions before using their apps.
I haven't played Genshin in a couple of years but it's definitely one of the better ones from what I've seen. I played through f2p until I had a sense of the game and was confident in the content and monetization model. After that I did spend whatever it was, five bucks(?), for the "battle pass" but honestly as long as you have the time to grind then Genshin is fairly non-invasive. That grind is why I quit though, the end game was a slog.
What do you mean what happened? Prices in my area dropped 20¢ overnight the day it went out of effect. They have yet to go back up (although I fully expect them to).
You trade me some of your friends and I'll give you some of my alone time, dealio?
Mouse sensitivity. Every game it's just ESC spam until I can get an options menu. Shoutout to the games with a 5m gameplay intro before you can access options. Super double special shoutout to games with 5m of very loud unskippable cutscenes before you can change audio settings.
Not sure if he's up your alley, but I enjoy Ryu (ryukahr) for this. I find his content cozy. I only watch his Mario channel but he has another channel with full play throughs of other games, mostly retro.
I installed this after seeing your v1 post and already got use out of it resizing some images on mobile. The only thing I noticed as lacking was a multiple file selector, so this is a great first update!
With just a single account on ~~any~~ most Lemmy server(s) you can read and write ~~everything~~ most things everywhere else.
Click on the "all" button and you'll see content from ~~all~~ some subreddits on ~~all~~ some servers.
I know I am nit-picking, but this over-selling of federation as if it "just works" and takes no manual effort almost drove me away when I first joined. It did and still does drive me away from Mastodon, but Lemmy is not as problematic.
At any rate, I know we don't want to overload new users with talks of defederation and unfederated content, but pretending it doesn't exist makes for a very frustrating time the first time someone realises they can't see 50% of the posts or thinks Lemmy as a whole is really quiet when it's because their server isn't federated 100% with every other server.
This isn't an extrovert behaviour, it's a rude behaviour. They aren't linked.
