TV remotes back then were a big deal. I think lots of people would keep it on the same channel even if they didn't really care for the program because they were too lazy to get up and change the channel

I'm feeling relieved that it seems that WE DO have someone who is here to correct us. I admire their efforts. Imagine having the time to scan dumb joke posts and correcting and calling out anyone who disagrees with their opinions.
Ironically people on stupid social media who get enraged over joke posts DO IT because their lives are empty. No one wants to be friends with someone who believes that they ALONE know what everyone's opinion should be for everything
