Opening lines of dialogue can be a good thing. I like that it’s set up with a trial period. If it creates problems, they can be dealt with quickly and permanently closed off shortly after.

We live in an online ecosystem designed to encourage divisiveness and anger. I personally think it’s a good thing to hear viewpoints outside of your comfort zone. People of differing ideologies have way more in common with each other than with the billionaires and their bootlicking armies that try to divide everyone for their own benefit.

Ceterum censeo Epstein didn’t kill himself.

Simple explanation. When all the guards simultaneously fell asleep, one of them accidentally cut the power to the security system.

You can’t expect the Justice Department to provide footage that was never recorded in a freak accident that is totally not suspicious at all. It’s not like Epstein had mountains of dirt on the wealthiest and most evil people on the planet doing unspeakably horrible things to innocent children.

We should all just accept this ridiculous story as true and let the rich evil people get back to doing… whatever it was they were doing. I’ve already forgotten

My brother in Christ, have you heard of filing bankruptcy?

Thomas is said to be waiting to hear competing offers from insurance companies, oil companies, and the presumed frontrunners on Wall Street.

Cutting funding for advance warning of weather disasters means that people will die. That was a decision that was made knowingly. These are the consequences. Texas voted for this.

That’s ingenious. Use the existing enforcement mechanisms to protect the people.

The current US president carries water for Russia. He is their thrall. He was always going to turn on Ukraine. It will get worse, but Europe is rearming and will rise to face Russia.

They’ll attack him in the history books. The banks put Andrew Jackson on the $20 bill.

I just hope they don’t try to portray Zuck as even remotely conflicted or moral. The whistleblowers can fill that narrative role. Depicting Zuck as anything but a heartless, machine-like accumulator of ill-gotten wealth will kill any authenticity.

Monied interests have been destroying education for 4 decades. Google joined the party late, but they’ve certainly done their damage.

The rich have too much by definition, but billionaires in America have an historically obscene amount of wealth. Wealth inequality in today’s America has surpassed pre-Revolution France.

Someone needs to run third party promising to run for only one term and clean up politics in Washington. Ethics reform, a ban on lobbyists, ban advertising in political campaigns, set up public funding for campaigns that reach a certain threshold of support, enact bribery laws with teeth that apply to public servants, etc.

Promote the best advisors and use best judgment on other pressing matters, but focus on taking a sledgehammer to this broken system and restoring democracy.
