Yeah. The behavior of people in this comments section really blows my mind. Just listening to the guy talk about his dog, or watching them interact, it is very clear that he's a POS. Also, the whole thing of "she's the most spoiled dog in the world" and how angry he is about that, instead of something like "and she deserves it because she is the best" or something, is so disgusting. Bro why the fuck do you even have a dog. Just get a little statue to be in frame for you on the platform, and let this dog go live its life away from your stress inducing stream.

I think it for real is very similar to MAGA. The whole concept of watching the video and coming to their own conclusion is alien to them. They need a tribe to be part of, and so anything bad someone says about the tribe needs somebody to motivate to say some stuff in defense. They're barely paying attention to the evidence, just trying to figure out how to muster the best counterpoint they can about whatever it is they've decided in advance is "the right side."

and US citizens trying to protect the vulnerable

What? When did this happen, what are you talking about?

Doing fucked up things to random foreigners is part of being in the US military, it's part of what makes people bitter and disillusioned about it sometimes. Going to war against Portland is a whole different thing.

Guess the national guard wanted in on some action more than they wanted to remember their oath.

A lot of them have been refusing to get involved in any capacity, that's why it has been so difficult for Trump to find some where he can even get them to go to some random city and pick up trash. Pretending that they are villains in this before any of them actually do anything wrong is not really going to lead anywhere good, either.

Good point, I just updated the link

Nothing on its own accomplishes anything, but stacked up, they can. It's like one day of clean living won't turn your life around, but in the long run, you can make big change. Changing someone's mind is the same way.

Watched the timestamped video and it’s Kaya getting up to stretch them lying back down.

He literally cuts to total silence mid sentence and whips around to glare at her until she gets back on the platform, and then grunts to himself and has to regather his train of thought to keep talking about politics again.

Y'all are fucked. You are precisely the type of people in some small town church who refuse to believe repeated accusations of sexual abuse because "Oh he would never do something like that, you need to shut your mouth. That's Bill you're talking about. I never want to hear this trash again." Precisely. I'm honestly getting irritated about it.

The whole rest of your message has literally nothing to do with anything. I really don't care where the clips come from. Watch the clips. If you don't see anything fucked up about them, I don't know what to tell you and I hope no one in your area is getting abused by someone you think is "good people" and you have the chance to strategically overlook it because you don't want your view of that person to get complicated.

You guys could give MAGA a run for their money lmao

"Kaya! Please!" as if she's doing something wrong, when literally all she was doing was gingerly stepping off her platform. And he says "Go ba--" and then corrects himself to "Stop!" (stop what?) And then, of course after she suddenly yelps for some totally coincidental reason, I guess, she puts her tail down, bows her head, and avoids eye contact. And y'all are all out there like "It doesn't look like anything to me."'

Edit: I didn't even do this on purpose, this was just where my YouTube video was paused, right after she tried to get off the platform and Hasan did his record scratch and whipped around, and she slowly turned around and got back on the platform:

"AS aN eXpERt oN doG BoDy laNGuaGe, I CaN sAY..."

Did you watch my YouTube video with the mean mugging?

[–] PhilipTheBucket@piefed.social 8 points 5 days ago (8 children)

Yes. The point is that there's a box that's on the collar. There are no collars that come with big boxes with lights attached to them, that are not shock collars.

I mean you can either see this stuff, or you can't. Obviously you can't. Watch the YouTube video in my edit, and if after you reach the point where Hasan makes a little self-satisfied grunt after she climbs sadly back onto her designated platform after he mean-mugs her, you want to still tell me he is a non abusive dog owner, then sure, you're welcome to your mistaken opinion about it I guess.

Edit: You can also see a green light on the back of it at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IbzsW86X4qA&t=9286s a couple seconds after the start of the video. Also, keep watching. Dude is a fucking psychopath. It's weird to me that people can watch these clips and not see it.

Seriously. I have some politics that are more-or-less similar to some of his politics, so I was sort of predisposed to like him, but almost every video I have seen of him makes him look like such a massive childish cunt that I can't understand why he has a following. Just hearing his voice whenever he gets challenged or corrected on something is like hearing an angle grinder.

I’m guessing he did or you or the video would mention it

Why would you assume that? I have no idea. I would be fine trying to dig up the rest of the clip to see context, although I don't know if I would succeed. Given his reaction I would be pretty surprised if he fixed it.

This video doesn’t show anything like what you’ve described. All I could tell was that the dog yapped at one point and… that’s it…

You can literally see the shock collar box on her at 0:13 when she turns away to go back to the platform. He also claims that she "clipped herself", when he wasn't looking at her and would have no idea why she suddenly gave a big sharp yelp right at the same moment when he reached for something off screen.

If he was telling the truth, he would say "I have no idea why she made that noise, she's a big baby" or something. That is literally the only explanation that he would have that even could be truthful. The fact that he even has an explanation for what happened that made her yelp means he is lying.

People on Reddit have also slowed down and brightened the footage, and it's very clear that she didn't bump herself or anything on any object, that just suddenly out of nowhere she made this sudden yelping noise and also changed her mind about wanting to get off the little platform and go walk around.

You can draw your own conclusions of course but I am not sure why people could see this and come to any other conclusion.

Austria expelled a Russian diplomat on Sept. 30 over suspicions that the diplomat relayed company secrets from Austrian oil company OMV along to the Kremlin.

The Russian diplomat, who served as an employee of the Russian Embassy in Vienna, has left the country after Moscow refused to lift his diplomatic immunity, allowing an investigation into the allegations, a government spokesperson told Austrian outlet APA.

The attempted investigation stems from a meeting between the diplomat and with a former senior employee of OMV in which Austrian intelligence authorities say the employee allegedly shared sensitive documents with the Russian official.

Authorities, who deemed the official persona non grata, have not provided information on the scope of information the employee allegedly shared with the diplomat, however, Austrian magazine Profil reported that the employee most recently worked with the Abu Dhabi National Oil, a shareholder of OMV.

Since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, various Western countries have arrested citizens for covert espionage activities related to the war in Ukraine. Moscow has expanded its espionage activities primarily among European nations.

In recent months, the Kremlin has grown increasingly concerned about the rise in Ukrainian drone attacks on oil refineries and the EU’s phase-out of Russian energy imports, as economic pressure on Russia's war machine continues to mount.

In December 2024, OMV, which serves as the largest oil company in central Europe, terminated its long-term gas supply contract with Russia's Gazprom Export — a contract was originally set to last until 2040.

The company cited "numerous material violations of contractual obligations" by Gazprom. According to OMV, gas deliveries stopped on Nov. 16, 2024.

EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced on Sept. 16 that the EU will propose to phase out Russian energy purchases sooner than initially planned, amid pressure from U.S. President Donald Trump.

No details on a timeline for the proposed phase out were immediately available. Under its current plan, the EU aims to phase out energy purchases completely by the end of 2027.

This article by Enrique Méndez and Fernando Camacho originally appeared in the September 30, 2025 edition of La Jornada, Mexico’s premier left wing daily newspaper.

Mexico City. The Morena deputies who were assigned to the Mexico-Israel friendship group decided not to join, and protests against the group also prevented its installation and the visit of officials from that country to the Chamber of Deputies.

Representative Petra Romero Gómez reported that she had made “the firm decision not to accept this assignment and to request my immediate resignation. The reason is simple and profoundly ethical: I could never be part of a group that, in my opinion, represents support for a state internationally accused of committing serious human rights violations against the Palestinian people.”

She recalled that organizations such as Amnesty International have documented Israel’s military practices, “which constitute war crimes and apartheid against Palestine.”

Morena legislators exclaimed in the plenary hall: “Long live free Palestine!” Photo: María Luisa Severiano

The legislator made a statement to the media during Tuesday’s regular session, and later, a group of Morena deputies shouted in the plenary hall: “Long live free Palestine!”

Romero Gómez even said that she has requested to join friendship groups with nations with which she affirmed she shares principles of sovereignty and cooperation, such as Russia and Bolivia, “countries with which Mexico maintains ties of respect and collaboration.”

She also noted that the Mexico-Israel friendship group has not been formally established in this Legislature due to the lack of sufficient members to meet a quorum, “which reflects that many deputies are not willing to legitimize policies of aggression and extermination.”

In fact, the president of the friendship group and former governor of Zacatecas, Miguel Alonso Reyes (PRI), had scheduled the installation for yesterday, Monday, but ultimately decided to cancel in the face of protests.

Meanwhile, Petra Romero reiterated her support for the demand for a free Palestine and expressed her “absolute rejection of any initiative that seeks to normalize the genocide against that people.”

She also noted that Mexico has always been and must continue to be a country that defends peace, the self-determination of peoples, and unrestricted respect for human rights.
