I'm rereading discworld now, and it's hard to decide between the witches, wizards, watch, and death, but I think I agree with you. The watch is such a good series.

A couple trans allegories in there. Cheery of course, and the monstrous regiment come to mind.

I may have been just a young pup back then, but I'll say in the 90s, moisturizer wasn't as important. I'm not so sure for women, but men definitely ignored it.
