Yeah, when she was a kid she had something called a Z-pack, I think. We theorize that was what lead to this. Plus poor food quality from her parents. Her mom used to pour the old milk into the new milk to stretch it...basically cultivating a super colony of bacteria, lol.

Yeah, they tested her for that. It took a long time to diagnose, but once this was found, everything else sorted itself out. Thus was also, like, 5 years ago? Now she's fine due to a mix of killing off the candida through diet, and then her whole gut biome completely changing when she got pregnant. The human body is bizarre and wonderful, and way more complex than we understand.

My wife had an overgrowth of candida bacteria in her stomach, and it caused irritability and exhaustion. When she starved it out, it was wild. If she had any sugars or yeast she would have almost stroke like symptoms. Like she had just drank a ton of alcohol that hit her all at once. She had 1 bite of ice cream (she had been good for months and wanted to try it), and she literally started slurring her words and getting dizzy. Our stomach colony has way more control over us than we think.

I really liked this game. The sequel was good too.

...why are you trying to defend pedophiles?

I wish this game was re-released. It feels weirdly isolated being only available on PS3.

Started and beat öoo, such a fun and interesting game, played 1 round of blue prince, and I'm not sure I have the time to invest in it, and I'm working on beating Eiyudean Chronicle Rising before playing the main game.

Is this a metaphor I'm not recognizing?

100% Mario Kart is really only for the multiplayer

Really only need mario kart 64.

So, I bring lunch to work every day. An iced tea, fiber brownie, fruit and an entree. I'd like to buy some kind of fruit in bulk and leave it in the fridge to have through the week so that I can't forget to pack it, and I always have fruit. I know a lot of fruit suffer bruises from being in the fridge as opposed to hanging in a bag. Any recommendations for something that will keep nicely?

I've been blocking communities on all that I don't find interesting. If I want to unblock them later, is there a way to do that?

So, I know I can block communities, but is there a way for me to block instances? It looks like some instances are becoming specialized in their content, which is great, and I think a way for the Fediverse to grow sustainably and healthy, but there's going to be instances centered around things I'm just not interested in. Is there any way for me to block them from my "all" feed?

Hello Lemmings (I have no idea what Lemmy users are called) I'm a reddit migrator. I'm still a little confused, but I'd like to learn. How do I find communities? If I want to discuss Warhammer or Steam games, or something like that, what's the best way to find that content? If it matters I am on the phone app.
