Geez, just refund those folks at a minimum. They're going to lose way more off the negative PR.
Fascism requires a group of others to persecute. Ideally, that group would be very small (as a percentage of the overall population) and already somewhat marginalized/"different".

I have a Corsair K100 and it does all the normal keyboard stuff without any software even installed on my machine. Also, the RGB lighting can run from on-device memory, which is super nice.

My sense is that no, it will NOT lead to cost savings due to lawsuits and whatnot, which is probably part of the reason workplace safety exists as a government function. But the Cheeto in Chief doesn't understand or care, so here we are again.
