Well yeah, if you're trapped in one of our many prisons, you get to look forward to slave labor! Slavery is perfectly legal and constitutional, as per the 13th amendment.
The moment I heard someone say "we cannot allow Iran to have nuclear weapons" I immediately thought of the Back to the Future scene where Marty goes "Hey I've seen this one before!"
Evolution (2001) is an objectively bad movie.
It is also one of my all time favorites because it's fun and doesn't take itself too seriously.
Schindler's List is an objectively good movie. It is decidedly not fun.

After reading some of this thread, I have decided if someone wants to gift me cast iron and it's bad, from now on I'm gonna use some of my metalworking tools to engrave a pattern into it.
A big NOT FOR FOOD engraved on the back would be a good addition just in case someone decides it's decorational engraving and still usable. Maybe even a little periodic table square for lead engraved on it somewhere as well.
The "I'm doing the thing you're doing but throwing it back at you" and "thanks or whatever" definitely is.
I'm cool with people snitching on someone pouring greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere.
They're being helpful and assuming you may genuinely not know the word, and are giving you the correct version for the context.
Getting defensive isn't necessary.
I wouldn't categorize myself as agorophobic, as I DO enjoy my time spent outside as long as I'm not in crowds or socializing with more than a handful of people, but it definitely got worse after covid.
Home is where what little stuff I do have is, and there's nobody there that I dislike or dislikes me. Outside is increasingly hostile for humans with climate change, and the likelihood that I might get shot over my political stances because a neighbor thinks I might have different political views has never been higher.
So yeah, I don't go out as much either and covid was definitely the tipping point of "I don't go out much anymore"
Unless you have knowledge and possibly evidence that politicians, world leaders, movie stars, and pretty much every ceo is into children and human trafficking as long as it's on a private island.
Then you might just experience the craziest set of coincidences!
