Mmm hot dogs. Pink ooze mmm.

Well it's an interesting argument. I'd say there's got to be a line somewhere and it's somewhat subjective where you put it.
For instance, do bacteria have a right to own themselves, or can we harness them to ferment milk and make yogurt?
Apes or dolphins are pretty clearly too intelligent, most people wouldn't want them on ranches.
Cattle are somewhere in the middle, I think you'll find people's opinions are likewise split down the middle
Want.
I'm a simple man--I see Casio, I upvote.
Yeah Narnia was straight up unmistakable Christian allegory. I believe J.R.R. (C.S.'s drinking buddy) always insisted that LOTR was not meant to be taken in that way, or like when people hypothesized that Sauron was Hitler and so on.
"land use amount is to scale, location is not"
Still seems kind of clunky, and given all the misunderstanding ITT it might do more harm than good.
I wonder how bad it'll get before we get some kind of prescribed burn policy. Smoky summers suuuuck. Having your house or town burn down in an out of control wildfire sucks even more.
Stand up, slap your knees and say "welp". It's a universal signal as far as I can tell. Unignorable.
Interesting peek at the org structure of the CBC here.
So over in the UK, the BBC said they're moving to digital only, there's a plan in place to make that transition in the future.
Catherine Tait, CEO of CBC, gave an interview where she said CBC will do the same thing and also complained about PP complaining about the CBC.
Nobody else had heard this yet, so other managers and the union representing CBC employees and CBC listeners (especially seniors) are complaining preemptively in case this turns from Tait's basically thinking out loud into an actual policy.
Language arts teacher here: for a generation that conducts the majority of your social life in text format... You should have paid more attention in my class!
The pixels!
A dead giveaway.
The trained eye can always ALWAYS tell by the pixels.
Imagine the uproar if that was a new idea now. People would hate it as the most "socialist", anti-business, outlandish concept. You just conserve it? And you can't build strip mall parking lots and gas stations all over it?!?
