Wow so relatable. When was the last time airlines had meals? Every time I fly I'd get a bag of pretzels and a cup of soda.
Not to dox myself too much, but I was just at a small theater. My movie finished, I walked into the lobby, and there were a bunch of people with Biden/Harris signs. Forgot the debate was today. Immediately noped out of there. Feels like I'm in a Final Destination movie.
I can relate to most of it except "2005 was lit." The whole Bush years were trash. That's why everyone was upset and listening to Linkin Park/ System of a Down.
I'm trying to imagine what the biography would even be about. "Once upon a time there was a wrestler who decided to create a youtube channel about Marxism. No, they didn't involve themselves in the struggles of their time, but they preached a bespoke form of vulgar communism that didn't go anywhere." Wow, what a great story. Worth immortalizing and learning from for future generations.

That is the solution most people go for. Rather than get mad and demand power be a public utility, rugged individualism prevails, everyone who can buys a generator, and the poor get shamed for being idiots for not buying one and deserving to suffer for their mistake. I'm still a bit bitter arguing with people that the government should do basic infrastructure spending on the power grid and being told instead everyone should only look out for themselves. I'm glad I moved out.
