My understanding is that these companies are investment companies that need stable assets for their billions of dollars portfolios and they actively look to keep buying property as a stable form of appreciating asset. They have so much money that needs to find some way to make more money for their investors.

Just basic public education that is not indoctrination and infrastructure that promotes mobility without debt

In an ideal world it wouldn’t matter. However human perception is not perfect and if we ignore color then we ignore equity with its subsequent derivatives. Culturally I one day hope that the world learns move beyond that
