The pilot has to flip a big "master arm" switch to make any of the weapons work. For this kind of bomb (jdam) you also have to go into the bombs configuration menu and enable the fuze(s). Then select an air-to ground mode. Now it depends on the mode, but generally even in "manual mode" you have to tell the computer in some fashion where on the ground you want the bomb, and then hold the bomb release button, until the computer drops the bomb at a calculated position and attitude.

The only way to accidentally drop it would be with one of the two jettison buttons, but then the bomb won't be armed.

Edit: Here's a tutorial incase you wanna bomb Portugal or whatever https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f9ky9n2ViV0

Edit 2: It's not a jdam but a gbu-12

What the fuck was the crew doing? They ran aground and then just chilled on their boat until the people on shore called emergency services??

Is "poly" a local american slang for plastic? Anyway I prefer wood because I'd rather have some wood fibres in my food than microplastic. Not that anyone knows if it's actually harmful or not

Ah, here in Germany they don't as far as i've seen. There's already cameras at the ceiling overlooking the whole store

Why does the author frame it as if either of these could be voluntarily changed

That's when you need a fat resistor to slowly drain it

The plastic page in the booklet has a chip which stores your info including fingerprints

No that is ambigous, it could also mean the opposite of asexual (aka allosexual)

Gas stoves fill the air in your home with particulate matter (pm), which has been found to increase cancer risk in the long term.

So next time you buy a stove, consider choosing an induction stove.

Btw, gas stoves being better or faster than induction is a myth. They have certain specific advantages, but they are actually slower.
