However, the UK is taking a less aggressive stance, with Visa and Mastercard working within the initiative. Both companies are part of the new funders group, giving them a stake and a say alongside a large number of banks.

Driven mostly by pharmaceutical products, US exports into Germany rose slightly in the same time period by just over 2%, putting Germany's trade surplus with the world's biggest economy at its lowest level since during the COVID pandemic in 2021.

It seems pharmaceutical products should be focused for BuyEuropean movement.
