Megabonk and Hades, I love both of them so much right now

this is an old old game now but I have to say I really enjoyed this DLC or whatever it is more than the original Far Cry 3 it's based on, the vibe is over the top 80s action with neon lasers and lots of fun details, not terribly long and very much worth a couple dollars, do recommend

Erica Chenoweth and Maria Stephan are absolutely smarter than me but I still think it's a red herring. Focusing on a number like that risks missing sight of the ultimate goal of overthrowing fascism, regardless of what it takes. Plus the math is not settled, it's a complicated number and every situation is unique.

Wish I could upvote twice, people keep thinking the number is magic

I think the term "protest" is what throws people off. Protest can encompass a lot of different actions, including showing up to a park on the weekend. But when a lot of people hear "protest", they imagine more direct action. They imagine people directly interfering with the fascist's agenda.

These seem more like rallies to me. The point seems to be less about interfering with the fascist administration and more about stretching organizing muscles, building networks and strengthening the resolve of millions of people around the country. Reminding them that so many of their friends and neighbors care enough to show up too. These aren't direct action in the same way but I think they still serve an important purpose.

We are building a web of trust and solidarity for the days ahead. Things will get worse, we are not even a year into this administration and I don't think the gloves have really come off yet. These protest or rallies or whatever you want to call them will help us be ready. When the time comes there will be organizers and volunteers and millions of people ready to step together and fight for what we believe in. But first, this.

Great article! I was just bemoaning having to hack my kindle, my next ebook reader will definitely be more open.

My Kindle is significantly lighter than my phone which makes it easier to hold for long stretches. The screen is bigger and I can render the text a little larger without sacrificing too much. The screen doesn't produce light on it's own which reduces eyestrain. My Kindle has a warm nightlight which I hope helps me sleep better. The page turn buttons are better placed than the volume buttons

I've read for hundreds and hundreds of hours on both phone and Kindle and the Kindle is absolutely worth the cost for me (once it's hacked). I hope there are better and more open options available when it finally dies.

1 gallon of kombucha
1 diced apple split between 3 bottles
1 tsp brown sugar per bottle
1/3 stick cinnamon per bottle

Haven't tasted it yet but gosh darn it looks good, happy fall everyone

It tastes so good! I've kept a sourdough starter around for like 3 years now and made a few things but never a proper sourdough bread, had some vacation time recently and decided to eat that frog. It turned out so well! Just wanted to share my happy, hope y'all are doing ok

Just started our kombucha journey this year and our cherry tree was super productive so we blended some and added it to the second ferment. Turned out super good! It's good to be here, already seeing some recipes we're excited to try. Any good tea recommendations? We'd love any decaf/no-caf tea recommendations people have.

I'm out of the house ATM but I've been looking forward to today for like a year now. Needed controller support to actually get some game time in, I'm so stoked it's finally here! Anyone play it yet?

hey FPVers, I picked up a goggles x and the meteor 75 pro hd last year and I've been having a blast

I've been itching to buy my next tinywhoop and that pretty much means going analog. I've got my conversion kit for the goggles x mostly worked out and I'm down to picking out an analog module. I was wondering what people recommended. Are the rapidfire and TBS fusion pretty much the only real choice? I'm mostly just gonna fly my tinywhoops around the house. Let me know what you think and happy flying!

Made it onto hackernews, what do people think?

Turned out so yummy, it was time to finally add another loaf to my repertoire. My first braid too!
